to announce Adam earned his championship today with a 4 point major at
the Kenosha Kennel Club Dog show under judge Mr. Lawrence J. Sinclair -
he is now known as CH Jehaj Adam DD!!!

puppies - 5 boys and 3 girls!! All are healthy and thriving!!

April 29, 2008 - Bluemoon Newfs received a very special
honor today at the NCA General Membership meeting - Our Kate, VN CH BlueMoon's
Katie Lou Bugum, CD WRD TDD, was awarded the honor of oldest living Newfoundland
for 2007. Today she is officially 15 years 9 months old... We're very
proud of our girl and this honor. Here's Kate today:

July 29, 2007 - VN CH BlueMoon's Katie Lou Bugum,
CD WRD TDD, otherwise known as Kate, Celebrates her 15th Birthday today!
While she is moving a little slower than she was, her sight is alittle
blurrier, her hearing far more selective than it was in her younger days,
she still is just as independent as ever. Kate still navigates under
her own power, except to negotiate the 2 sets of stairs in to and out
of the house, where she needs only some steadying. She still tells me
when she is not getting enough treats, complains when the younger dogs
try to muscle in on her territory AND she still flirts with the boys!
And while her life has not always been a joy, I would never think to
trade it for anything!
When she wakes up from her afternoon nap, I will try to get a decent
picture of her. And if it cools off a little later, we'll go for a swim.
She already gets steak, (or tuna or salmon) for dinner every night, so
tonight I think we will go for the "junk food" of toasted peanut
butter and honey sandwiches on Ezekiel bread.

Class at the Newfoundland Club of America National Specialty
in Boulder, Colorado, under Judge Mrs. Barbara Finch. Adam and I send our
appreciation to Angela LePore for once again beautifully handling my
dogs with grace
and professionalism!!

IL show, under judge Mr. Ronald Mennacker, Noela achieved Winners Bitch
and Best of Winners
for her first major, and Adam achieved Winners Dog for another two points.
